10" high (Tibet, circa 1900) Tibetan chatelaine or belt ornament from Eastern Tibet. The metal work is a combination of repoussé and chased silver with gold inlay and this is attached to the original fabric strap. The main piece shows particularly nice silver work and displays the Kirtimukha design with seven raised norbu (gems).
